After 16 years wrangling finances in corporate and non-profits, Aimee LaLiberte decided to take her experience and help out small business owners.  She has been the ‘chief number cruncher’ at her company My Virtual CFO for the past 8 years. We are very fortunate that she made that leap.

At Grandin Holdings, Aimee is our Controller, acting as the financial glue between our spreadsheet wielding CFO and M&A advisors. She not only just helps to make everything work but also can get hands-on and help our portfolio companies get their chart of accounts in their accounting software squeaky clean. This not only helps our portfolio agency owners manage and scale their company with accurate numbers but also helps organize the books for a faster and less painful due diligence process at the next exit.

For one of my companies, Aimee was told by the acquiring parties’ due diligence team that her books were the easiest to understand and validate that they had ever come across in a small business. This streamlined the process and helped lead to a much faster than average ‘LOI to Close’ timeline.
